PhotOlympic, 48-hour Live Photo Competition


PhotOlympic is a real-time, 48-hour photo competition. Competitors will be provided 24 themes to photograph and deliver during the 48-hour photo competition.
To ensure non-biased results, PhotOlympic counts with 24 judges and a transparent scoring system.

PhotOlympic is like a real Olympic discipline! As described by previous participants, PhotOlympic is challenging, interesting and demanding, both physically and mentally, as well as a real thrill.

PhotOlympic 2018 photo exhibit will be held in October in New York City where 72 photos will be displayed. With 24 themes and Top ranked 3 photos per category, 72 photos will be displayed and presented to the visitors. Also, all Honorable Mentions photos will be projected on the wall, each signed by its author’s name.


- 1st place - $1,000 Cash Prize
- 2nd place - $500 Cash Prize
- 3rd place - $250 Cash Prize

- 4th and 10th place: free entry for PhotOlympic 2019.

- 120 Honorable Mentions (5 per category)

The Copyright of the images will remain at all times with the photographer. Images will be used strictly in connection with the awards and will not be used for any other marketing purposes other than to promote the photographer and his ranking in PhotOlympic competition. The images will not be used or sold by the organizer of the competition or any other third party. To promote winners of each category PhotOlympic is granted the right by the contestants to display images on social network websites (on PhotOlympic official profiles).
