Art-Competition.net announces a call for entries “RED 2,” in all still mediums, for an online group exhibition. Twenty artists will be chosen for the exhibit. Deadline: August 22, 2016 (Midnight EST). The curators will be looking for artwork enhanced through the use of the color red. Its application in the work has no required parameters---from a single red dot to a completely red image---the choice rests within the artist’s eye. Red may define intuitively an intended focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the message. All submissions, which can be expressed from representational to abstract, are welcome. The artists and exhibit will be extensively marketed with numerous press releases, social media marketing, event listings calendars, and featured in “Art Market NewsTM” with over 18,000 subscribers worldwide. Prizes:
20 artists will be chosen for a group exhibit at Gallery 25N online. The exhibit and artists will be extensively marketed with numerous press releases, social media marketing, event listings and calendars. The artists will also be featured in Art Market News TM with over 18,000 subscribers.
Eligibility:
This competition is open to all artists and photographers 18 years of age or older. Entries must be created in a still medium: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage, etc.

Non-exclusive Permissions:
By entering this art competition, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your artwork on our art-competition.net website and in our newsletters, and in the marketing of the art competitions to the general public. Artworks will not be used for any other purpose than that which is stated here. All winning entries will be displayed on the art-competition.net website. Each entry becomes part of the public, historical / archival online contest catalog. It can be removed at a later date upon request.
