The International Nature Photography Competition & Exhibition is a juried competition celebrating nature and highlighting conservation issues. The juror is award-winning National Geographic photographer and conservation advocate Brian Skerry and the competition is organized by Chris Sloan, former Art Director of National Geographic and Arcadian Gallery owner. Award categories include wildlife, flora, landscapes, ocean, and aquatic life and conservation storytelling. This competition includes both a gallery exhibition and an online exhibition. Selected images will be shown at the nature-themed Arcadian Gallery in Cumberland, MD, a growing arts destination within reach of Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. Awards total $5,000, and 10% of gallery sales will support a conservation cause. This competition exists because nature needs advocates with cameras.

Opening Reception: Saturday, Sept. 5 at The Arcadian Gallery, Cumberland, MD. 6 to 8 pm.
