MONO ORBIT AWARDS Current Edition – Emission
One theme. One photograph. One perspective.

- Entry fee: €20 PER PHOTOGRAPH

Mono Orbit Awards is an international monochrome photography award dedicated to the built environment.
We recognise photographic work exploring architecture, infrastructure, industry, public space and the systems that shape contemporary life. Each edition is built around a single theme and welcomes photographers whose work examines the relationship between people, place and the environments they create.
The theme of the first edition is EMISSION.
Emission may be visible or invisible, physical or symbolic. It may appear as smoke, light, heat, energy, movement, sound, waste, data or human influence. We invite photographers to interpret the theme through architecture, infrastructure, industry, construction, public space and the wider built environment.
Mono Orbit Awards welcomes photographers worldwide. Each submission consists of one monochrome photograph responding to the current theme. There are no separate categories - all eligible works are considered together through one shared selection process.
Selected photographers will receive international visibility through the Mono Orbit platform, editorial features, online presentation, certificates and promotional opportunities.
