The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running an exhibition in June called Monochrome.
The return of one of our most popular exhibitions, Monochrome, is an open-themed exhibition. An subject matter will be considered as long as the image is monochrome.
With this exhibition we want to showcase how impactful monochrome images really can be. But your monochromatic images don't have to just be black and white, sepia, green, blue, any colour would be acceptable as long its monochrome. So whether you have a gorgeous black and white image or a thought provoking cyanotype, we want to see them
Monochrome is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images.
Prizes:
Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed in a month long exhibition in our gallery, with their work also appearing online in an online gallery on our website.
All participants that are selected to take part in the exhibition will receive a digital certificate of participation and will also be put forward for a chance to be named Photographer of the Month
