We are pleased to announce the 3rd International Wedding Photographer of the Year is now OPEN for entries!
We live in an exciting time with technology that is allowing photographers of all genres greater scope, flexibility and expression of concepts and emotions, and none more so than Wedding Photography. The IWPOTY showcases the work of Wedding Photographers worldwide and aims to be the new benchmark for wedding photography. The IWPOTY awards are open to all wedding photographers – professional and amateur.
2018 saw the competition won by Dan O’Day from Australia. The standard of entries continues to rise and the 2019 competition promises to be an exciting showcase of wedding photography worldwide!
The US$20,000 prize pool includes more than US$5,000 cash and a stack of prizes!

All wedding photographers worldwide, both professional and amateur
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards recognises that entrants retain full ownership of the copyright in each entry
All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards, and its Event Partners, for marketing and promotional purposes of the event ONLY. You hereby grant The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards a non-exclusive, irrevocable license in each Entry throughout the world in perpetuity in all media for any use directly or indirectly connected with the Competition, including, but not limited to:
-judging the Competition
-displaying the winning entries and runners up at public exhibitions promoting The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards and organized by The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards
-inclusion within the Website, an Awards book, magazine or similar
-inclusion within any materials promoting the Competition and / or any exhibition organized by The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards or its Event Partners, in the promotion of The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards
-inclusion on Competition and exhibition related products to be sold by The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards or any third party following the individual agreement by the author
-sub-licensing the Entries to the press for reproduction in connection with the Competition and any exhibition
-allowing viewers of the Website to view images on a computer screen, PDA or mobile telephone and store such pages in electronic form on disk or on a PDA or mobile telephone (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network) for their personal, non-commercial use only
-being chosen and entered into promotional competitions by The International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards or its Event Partners for marketing and promotional purposes
