The condition of being a woman is always situated, contingent, and relational. Everyday actions, public gestures, and private moments exist simultaneously as material realities and symbolic constructs. Photography can trace these tensions and illuminate their significance.
"Women" seeks work that interrogates the complexity of these conditions. Submissions may document spaces, behaviours, or social interactions. Work may engage with temporality, repetition, or transformation. All approaches are welcome provided they prioritise critical insight, and conceptual engagement with the lives of women.
