Art-Competition.net announces a Call to Artists for “Nature” an online international competition. $8,125 in Cash and Extensive Art Marketing Prizes. Deadline: August 29, 2016 (Midnight EST). The submitted artwork can depict any subject of nature, whether it is a simple object of nature or a world vista. An artist’s focus should inspire and enhance our appreciation and respect for nature’s delicate balance, as it protects and ensures the survival of our planet. Artists, through their works, provide a means of focusing on our planet’s beauty, energy, and diversity. They may also bring us to a greater understanding of humans’ impact upon the environment. From the beginning of human history, artists have provided us with a record of their feelings and observations as they absorb the unspoiled world’s wonders and envision their hopes for the future. The judges for this art call are looking for the following criteria: vision or concept, quality of execution in the medium, and the use of composition to communicate their vision. The work can be expressed from representational to abstraction.
Prizes:
1st Place = $500 plus Art Marketing Prizes, 2nd Place = $400 and Art Marketing Prizes, 3rd Place = $300, 4th Place = $200, 5th Place = $100, 6th Place = $75, 7th Place = $50, and 10 Honorable Mentions.
Eligibility:
This competition is open to all artists and photographers 18 years of age or older. Entries must be a still medium created in one of the following mediums: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art and collage.

Non-exclusive Permissions:
By entering this art competition, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your artwork on our art-competition.net website and in our newsletters, and in the marketing of the art competitions to the general public. Artworks will not be used for any other purpose than that which is stated here. All winning entries will be displayed on the art-competition.net website. Each entry becomes part of the public, historical / archival online contest catalog. It can be removed at a later date upon request.
