Nature’s Best Photography Asia is an awards program focusing on and showcasing nature photographs taken in Asia by amateur and professional photographer from any country.

We aim to bring exposure to Asian landscapes and the photographers who photograph them.

Selected Winning photographers will have their work shown within the Nature’s Best Photography Windland Smith Rice exhibition displayed at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, representing Asian flora and fauna.

This is your opportunity to reach a large global audience with your imagery in a photo competition unrivaled by any in the world.

Prizes:

Grand Prize: USD $1,000, award plaque, photo displayed at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

Runner Up x 6: USD $500, award plaque, photo displayed at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

Eligibility:

Any amateur and professional photographer from any country.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:

Photographers own their own copyright and enter Nature’s Best Photography Awards competitions of their own free will. As a condition of having a photograph selected as a winning image, photographers agree to a non-exclusive transfer of worldwide rights allowing Nature’s Best Publishing, LLC (NBP) and Nature’s Best Photography Asia (NBPA) the following uses including, but not limited to: publishing the image(s) in upcoming issues of Nature’s Best Photography and Nature’s Best Photography Asia magazine, calendar, post cards and other promotional item related to the contest; hanging the image(s) in public exhibitions; and displaying the image(s) on the NBP and other websites; and using the image(s) to promote NBP and NBPA competitions. Non-exclusive allows the photographer to market the image as they choose. NBP and NBPA do not restrict future sales of the image, rather NBP enhances opportunities to market the photograph as a Winner in a very prestigious competition. Many photographers have found their sales to increase based in part on their participation in NBP award competitions.

The winning photographs may be published in books and magazines published and sold by Nature’s Best Photography and its affiliates in the U.S. (NBP), Nature’s Best Photography Asia (NBPA) and/or Nature’s Best Photography Japan (NBPJ) and may be selected for gallery exhibitions and other Nature’s Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards (NBPWSRIA) competition promotion opportunities, including, but not limited to, a compilation book or calendar, prints, sponsor presentations, electronic collections of winners and web pages providing NBPWSRIA information, updates, rules and photo tips.
