“INTERNATIONAL GOLD PHOTO CONTEST – Win Zanzibar!”

PHOTO CONTEST RULES

1- CONTEST
"Gold Photo Contest" is a photo contest promoted and organized by Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa, 5 stars resort placed in Kendwa, Zanzibar Island - Tanzania. The topic of the contest concerns ‘VACATION’ that can be freely interpreted in all its aspects by the personal vision of the photographer.

2- HOW TO TAKE PART / REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
Participation to "Gold Photo Contest" is completely free, there aren't any age and nationality limits (except for people who have not yet reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence). Each author can submit one single photograph.
Requirements to take part to the contest:
• like Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa's ocial Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/GoldZanzibar/;
• subscribe to our newsletter signing up the following form: http://www.goldzanzibar.com/contact-us (writing on the subject “registration form newsletter Gold Photo Contest”).
The entries has to present the following requirements:
• the concept of the image has to deal with ‘Holiday’ - ‘Vacation’ and it can be interpreted in each aspects through the personal and subjective vision of the photographer;
• entries can be shot using any kind of means and may originate in any format so long as they are submitted electronically in a .jpg digital format (not larger than 5 MB - ve megabyte);
• the photograph has to be in fee simple of the author.

3- HOW TO PARTECIPATE
In order to subscribe to the contest it is necessary to send the image using one of these methods:
• by mail to the following address: socialgoldzanzibar@gmail.com writing on the subject “Gold Photo Contest” including your name, surname, address, telephone number, email, the date, the location and the title of the photo
you’re submitting;
• through Facebook posting your image on the ocial page of the resort Gold Zanzibar Beach House and Spa http://www.facebook.com/GoldZanzibar/ (you can also send your photo using a private message)
• through Instagram posting the photo on your instagram account using the hashtag #GoldPhotoContest (http://www.instagram.com/goldzanzibar/)
All the photos will be published on the ocial Facebook Page of Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa and the photo that will receive more likes will win. In the event of the discovery that payment has been made in exchange for “likes”, the photograph will immediately be disqualified.

4- ENTRY PERIOD
The contest starts at 08:00am CET on June, 01 2016 and ends at 21:00 pm CET on September 01, 2016 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted after the “Entry Period” will not be eligible. The photos can be voted until 21:00pm CET on September 15, 2016.

5- PRIZE
The prize is a holiday of 7 days for two people at the 5 stars Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa. The stay at the hotel in All Inclusive formula (Deluxe Garden room on availability) is to be considered without the ight A/R.
The period of stay will be agreed between the winner of the contest and Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa, based on the Hotel’s availability. Travel period: from end of September 2016 to end of June 2017. Blockout dates: from December, 24, 2016 to January 5, 2017 and Easter week (April 2017). The winner, during the 7 days of vacation, is committed to document his living through the daily publication of images and video on the own social pages; the images will also be published on the ocial channels of the resort (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, website, etc.).

6- RIGHTS
The participant retains ownership and all rights to the photograph, however, by entering the contest, the participant will grant exclusive license of the photo to Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa in order to publish the submitted
photo on several channels (web, editorial publications, video, projections, brochure, etc.)

7- DECLARATIONS
By participating the user acknowledges that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, and by entering the promotion, the entrant is completely releasing Facebook of any
responsibility or liability. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa, not Facebook.
The participant of the “Gold Photo Contest” declares and guarantees:
• to have a legitimate, full and exclusive ownership of the photo sent and that it did not undertake any act that can limit the exercise or possession;
• the photograph sent in its entirety cannot be considered defamatory towards any person or entity and does not contain obscene and violent material;
• to give up the right to any fee due by way of copyright and any right related to copyright of the photograph sent and did not have any claims by Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa in relation to the projection, publication and
distribution of the photograph.

8- PRIVACY
When entering the “Gold Photo Contest” the participant is requested to submit personal information which includes, but is not limited to, the full name and email address. This information is used for the purpose of conrming your identity and contacting you on behalf of Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa about the contest, its prizes and commercial oers of the resort. Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa will otherwise not sell, trade, share or publicize your personal or contact information in any way, form or medium.

09- RELEASING
Participants with the act of subscription (consisting by sending the image) declare to have read and accepted the conditions specied in this Regulations.

10- COMMERCIAL
Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa will publish this regulations on the ocial site http://www.goldzanzibar.com and will promote it with any appropriate means. Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa reserves the right to change this regulations in respect of the nature and the original goals of the contest, in order to improve participation.
