Welcome to Born Free USA's "Pets Go Wild for Wildlife" photo contest!
At Born Free USA, we work to keep wildlife in the wild—but we love our own dogs and cats and know that you do, too! Submit as many photos as you'd like of your furry family member acting "wild": running like a cheetah, swimming like an orca, leaping like a gazelle, pouncing like a fox… or just going "wild" in general. You name it! (Our photo contest is open to photos of dogs and cats only.)
The three photos with the most votes will win fantastic prizes! (Our first place prize is the winner's choice between an iPad or an Apple Watch!) Prizes will also be awarded for the top voted dog, top voted cat, most "promotes" through this contest site, and Born Free USA staff favorite. (An entrant can only win for one category.)
It costs $10 per photo entry and $1 per vote to participate in the contest. Each contribution helps Born Free USA raise the funds we need to continue our life-saving work for animals around the globe! Photo entries and voting are unlimited!
By noticing and capturing the special moments during which your dog or cat acts "wild," we hope you will consider the connection between domestic animals and wild animals. Your little cat and the big cats in the jungle… Your cuddly dog and the majestic wolf… They're not so different, and they all deserve our compassion!
Encourage your friends and family to vote for your dog's or cat's photo! You may submit as many photos as you'd like—and vote as much as you want, even for your own photo!
Prizes:
FIRST PRIZE (MOST VOTES):
The choice of an iPad (32 gig iPad Mini 2) or an Apple Watch (38mm silver aluminum case with white sport band).
SECOND PRIZE (SECOND MOST VOTES):
Pet Portrait in Pastel.
THIRD PRIZE (THIRD MOST VOTES):
Pet Portrait in Pencil.

The highest number of votes for a dog's photo that has not already won a first, second, or third place prize for the most votes.
