In the middle of the 20th century our lives forever changed with the advent of living color in photography:
Cool or warm, soft or vivid, how can subtle shades of colors affect mood and our perception of a scene?
This month, we invite all photographers driven by their artistic eye and passion for color to join the award and celebrate with us the beauty and diversity of color photography.
Whether in portrait, landscape, fashion, street or any other form of photography - classic or experimental: We’re open to all genres and we want to see YOUR colors!
Prizes:
$1500 in prizes available, plus winning photograph will be featured in a group exhibition in Berlin and a photo book.
Eligibility:
The Competition is open only to those who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Competition is open to legal residents from all over the world, and is void where prohibited by their local law. Employees of The Independent Photographer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Competition. The Competition is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
Each Participant retains copyright of his or her images, and credit lines will be attributed to each Participant when exhibited or presented anywhere by The Independent Photographer. Winners grant that when you give THE INDEPENDENT PHOTOGRAPHER content, you are giving us a nonexclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub licensable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise any and all copyright, trademark, publicity, and database rights (but no other rights) you have in the content, in any media existing now or in the future, for three years following the date of submission.
