2015 Allard Prize Photography Competition

A photography competition that documents the combatting of corruption.

The Allard Prize Committee oversees the semi-annual Allard Prize Photography Competition, which recognizes photographic excellence reflecting the ideals of the Allard Prize. Each winning entry receives a CDN $1,000 cash prize and is featured on the Allard Prize website for six months.

The Allard Prize Committee enthusiastically invites photographers from around the globe to submit entries for the Allard Prize Photography Competition, reflecting themes of courage and leadership in combating corruption, especially through promoting transparency, accountability and the Rule of Law, and of human rights and/or anti-corruption generally. The Committee particularly invites photographers who are observing human rights issues or witnessing leadership in combating corruption within their home countries to submit images of their experience.

Each winning entry will receive:

•CDN $1,000
•photograph featured on the Allard Prize website for six months
•inclusion of the photographer's name, and brief description of the photograph, on the website
•inclusion of the photograph in the website archive as a past winner

The jury for the Allard Prize Photography Competition is currently comprised of members of the Allard Prize Committee and Maxe Fisher, Associate Professor, Faculty of Design + Dynamic Media, Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

The Allard Prize Photography Competition is now accepting submissions for the November 2015 competition. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, November 1, 2015.

To submit your photograph(s), please submit a short summary about yourself along with your contact details.

For each photo submitted, please include a title and a brief description of the photograph(s), which includes how the photo reflects the themes of human rights and anti-corruption.

Please ensure photographs are submitted in the highest resolution possible.
