“Beautiful Moments” World Photography and Essay Contest 2018

To participate, please submit a photo of a “beautiful moment” and a 200-500-word essay describing the touching scene depicted in the photo. The OFFICIAL RULES can be found at www.primetimetv.org/beautiful-moments.

Prizes: The Top 10 winners will each receive a trophy and $200 (unless they are one of the Top 3 winners). The Top 10 winners will also be invited as guests of honor to the annual AHMC Health Foundation Gala, to be held on June 23, 2018 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. The top three winners will be announced at this event. The Top 3 winners will receive:

Third Place: $1,000 Second Place: $2,000 First Place: $5,000

Eligibility: Anyone who is at least 18 years of age is invited to submit a photo of a particularly touching, beautiful moment he/she has personally shot and edited. Both professional and amateur photographers are welcome to participate.

Themes: Acceptable themes for the photos include, but are not limited to: family, love, overcoming challenges, humankind’s technological or cultural achievements, notable personal or public events, nature, and animals.

To Participate: Please send an email to contest@la18.tv stating their full name, age, email address, phone number and mailing address (P.O.Box is not acceptable), and attach the following:

1. One photo (JPEG/JPG format, 15 MB or less). Only one photo is permitted.
2. An essay of 200-500 words (English or Chinese) describing the beautiful moment in the photo.
3. A brief description of the camera or other device used, the settings, such as the shutter speed, aperture, or effects, and editing methods, including any editing software used.
