PHOTO IS:RAEL is pleased to announce an Open Call for the 2018 Photography Festival All submissions will be viewed by our artistic committee and considered for exhibiting at the festival that will take place in November 2018 in Tel-Aviv.
Artists from all over the world and in all stages of their career are invited to send proposals for existing or planned works on this year’s theme – relations.
We accept applications from contemporary artists working with photography, video, multimedia and performance.
PHOTO IS:RAEL Photography Festival was launched in 2009 and since then has become the biggest photography event in Israel.
In 2017, over 20 000 visitors came to see artworks by 200 photographers from across the globe. The festival hosted workshops, gallery talks, guided tours, portfolio reviews, artists’ meetings — a ten-day celebration of photography in all its forms and manifestations.

An artist applying for the Open Call will maintain ownership rights of all the intellectual property (including ethical rights) related to the images comprising the
body of work, subject to the Open Call regulations.
