The DJ Memorial Photography Contest (DJMPC) is an annual competitive photography contest organized by Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, in memory of its past Chairman and Managing Director Dr.D.Jayavarthanavelu (DJ).
The 7th Edition DJMPC International Photography Contest 2018 is looking for the best photographers from across the globe, encouraging photo enthusiasts to submit their most powerful photos that illustrate effectiveness, and inspiring excellence.
The prize money worth Rs. 10 lakhs is distributed to the winners.
Photographers of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels are free to participate and enter their best images into the competition for a chance to win prize money worth Rs. 10 lakhs.
The contest will be conducted under two themes ‘Wildlife’ and ‘Landscape.
A panel will choose the winning photographs based on originality, artistic merit, composition, technical excellence, overall impact and as otherwise determined by the judges. Each category will have one winner and one runner and ten Merit awards. After judging, DJMPC will notify the Grand Prize winner of their selection.
