Belgrade Photo Month New Talents 2016

Belgrade Photo Month – Photography Festival to be held during April 2016 (First edition). Photography exhibitions, lectures, workshops, portfolio reviews etc. The festival will take place in various venues around Belgrade, New Belgrade & Zemun in Serbia.

The exhibition is open to anyone of any nationality, professional or amateur who is under the age of 25. However, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organisation or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to the exhibition rules and conditions. There are no restrictions as to subject matter except as outlined in the rules and definitions of specific sections, or specified by the laws of the country where the exhibition is held. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own (aliases are not permitted). The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker. JURY The team of judges is comprised of one person from the organisers, one person from the exhibition space, a photography professor and a curator. Selectors will evaluate creativity, originality, technical quality of submitted work, as well as all other criteria usually applied at such assessments. Selectors are not allowed to participate in the competition.

The organisers will choose the 3 best projects. From the 3 chosen projects, the organisers will choose 1 winning project and will award prizes for 2nd and 3rd places. All 3 projects will be awarded Honoured Documents. The 3 projects will be printed and will form part of Belgrade Photo Month under the exhibition title: New Talents 2016.
