The 2023 Global Chinese New Year Photography Competition (GCPC) welcomes diverse and innovative submissions from photographers and visual artists around the world. Participation in the competition is your one-way ticket to showcase your unlimited photographic potential and unique approach at depicting the beauty of Chinese New Year and Chinese Culture to audiences across the globe. All winning photographs will receive recognition and be displayed on social media, website galleries, and photo galleries. Subjects include Chinese Culture, China Natural Scenery, and Chinese Elements Abroad. (Some examples of accepted photographs include: photography of Chinese architecture, natural scenery, food, fashion, traditions, Dragon Dance, lion performance, Lunar New Year Parade, local Chinatown, etc.)

The organizer North America Photography Association (napa) has the right to freely use the submitted
or winning images within the copyright protection period. The organizer has unlimited non-exclusive
right to use the high-resolution image files for marketing, promotions, publishing, exhibition, screening,
public archives, and media (including social media, online and print). For all images except those that
have been granted, the copyright owner shall grant (napa) the right to freely use the submitted or
winning images within the copyright protection period. The organizer has unlimited non-exclusive right
to use the high-resolution image files for marketing, promotions, publishing, exhibition, screening,
public archives, and media (including social media, online and print). For all images except those that
have been granted, the copyright owner shall grant (WCAO) and (napa) private archives the nonexclusive free use of low-resolution images for educational and research activities. All promotional and
