Singapore International Photography Festival is back, running our 8th edition in October 2022. SIPF Open Call always seeks diverse proposals from the international community to present in our home country, Singapore. Since 2008, the Open Call serves as a global survey to surface new works and new faces with aims to generate new discussion and exchange on photography and image-based works.

The Open Call runs independently from the festival theme and has always been a major highlight for the public audience to discover new visual languages and subjects matters that are close to their hearts. Over the years, SIPF has received a dynamic range of portfolios that are often reflective of the world around us, of societal concerns, and the personal world within. Underlying it all, the idea, concept, emotions and stories are expressed powerfully through photo and images with an artistic voice unique to each individual.

All submitted entries will be reviewed by our 12 international esteemed jury members consisting of curators, artists, publishers. SIPF will present the best portfolio works and photobooks to over 200,000 audience in October 2022.
