A Smith Gallery’s “water”

Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme "water" to A Smith Gallery by May 30, 2023. Entries of 13 or more images are eligible for a complementary review by the gallery directors. The entry fee is $40 for the first 5 images and $5 for each additional image. Fifty five images will be selected for exhibition and shown in the online gallery from June 23 to August 3, 2023. An exhibition catalogue with all the accepted images will be mailed to all accepted artists. Also, 27 images from the total 55 images will be selected for “The 27”, a limited edition hardbound fine art book of the exhibition. The Juror’s and Director’s award winners will each receive a copy of the limited edition hardbound fine art book. The Juror’s Award also includes an online solo exhibition. The Visitors’ Award is $100 and is selected by most Instagram likes.

Juror for "water" will be Elizabeth Avedon, independent curator, photography book designer and writer.

Prizes:

Juror's and Director's award each receive a copy of the limited edition hardbound fine art book of the exhibition. Juror's award receives a solo online exhibition. Visitors' award receives $100. Each photographer selected by the juror will receive a copy of the exhibition catalogue.

Photographers of all levels, international.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:

Photographers retain all rights to their work. When accepted into an exhibition, A Smith Gallery retains the rights to use your image on our website in the online exhibition as well as publish the image in our exhibition catalogue and fine art exhibition book. We will also include your image in our social media postings. We will credit you in each of these instances. If the gallery wishes to use your image for other advertising purposes, we will ask for specific permission.
