The Glasgow Gallery of Photography's mission is to advance the arts, heritage and cultural sector through exhibitions of photographic works as a means for artistic, community and personal expression.
The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running a month long exhibition in October called Abandoned. We are looking for photographers to submit images that meet the theme of Abandoned. The is a fairly open theme and can be open to interpretation, and to multiple genres of photography. Images could be of abandoned buildings or places, objects or ideas/ideals, and maybe even people, the theme is open to you. So whether its a photo of an abandoned farm or a still life of abandoned objects, we look forward to seeing your submissions.
Abandoned is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images that meet the theme Abandoned.
Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed in a month long exhibition in our gallery, with their work also appearing online in an online gallery on our website.
All participants that are selected to take part in the exhibition will be put forward for a chance to be named Photographer of the Month.
We want to see work from both emerging and established photographers. You do not need to be a professional photographer to participate as we believe that photography is for everyone.
Prizes:
Those selected will have their work exhibited at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography for one month. They will also have their work displayed in an online gallery on The Glasgow Gallery of Photography's website. All those selected for the exhibition will also be in with a chance of being named Photographer of the month.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:
The copyright of the Works during and after the exhibition remains with the Artist.
GGOP does not have the right to make use of or bestow the high definition files or the prints of the Works that will be used for the realization of the exhibition.
