International call for photographers! Arte Laguna Prize now open

The Arte Laguna Prize is currently accepting entries from photographers from all over the world through November 16, 2016.

The 30 finalist photographs will be exhibited in March 2017 in the prestigious venue of the Venice Arsenale, a landmark for the contemporary art world. They will be selected by an international jury including:
Manuel Borja-Villel (Spain, Director of National Museum Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid)
Tamara Chalabi (Iraq, Chair and Co-Founder of Ruya Foundation)
Igor Zanti (Italy, Curator and Art Critic)
Among the finalists the best photo will be awarded with a cash prize of € 7,000, the work will remain property of the artist

All the photographers entering the competition are also eligible for the following prizes in collaboration with international partners:

Papillover Art Collection: € 1,000 and new designs for a limited edition of bow ties
Eurosystem: € 5,000 and making of a video enhancing the art-technology relationship
Biafarin: 10 Gold Membership Packages + US$ 4,000 to 4 selected artists (US$ 1,000 each)

Special Prize Sustainability and Art
Selection of 1 creative project which enhances paper/cardboard and cellulose packaging as part of the RRR strategies (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce).
Prize of 3,000 euro for the winner
