Following the success of the first edition, Dark Frames II invites photographers to submit black and white work that delves into the subtleties of light, shadow, and form. In monochrome, the absence of colour allows for a purity of expression.
Monochrome photography does not ask for attention; it demands it. It works in the quiet spaces, where every shade carries significance, every highlight is deliberate, and every shadow reveals a part of the story. The challenge is in restraint, in the eloquence that monochrome can deliver.
Prizes:
- One or more of your photographs will be showcased in a Virtual Online Exhibition.
- Participants will receive a free PDF copy of the Exhibition Catalogue.
- Participants will receive a free Certificate of Recognition.
- Photographers can expect to see their work featured in social media posts and stories.
- Your photograph(s) will be permanently uploaded on Instagram (@carlottagallery).
Eligibility:
Open to photographers worldwide. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
Artists retain the copyright to their submitted works.
