Call to Artists for interpritaions of the theme Dreams
Call to Artist “Dreams 3” For a group exhibit at Gallery 25N online.
Art-Competition.net is proud to announce the international art call “Dreams 3."
Submission Deadline: July 10, 2017 (Midnight EST)
Twenty artists will be selected for an online group exhibit, "Dreams 3", at Gallery25N online; the exhibit and the artists will be extensively marketed worldwide to over 26,100 people including art buyers, gallery owners, curators, collectors, etc.
Theme: "Dreams 3” – The curators are looking for artwork based on dreams. Dreams are windows into what might be called a “substitute” reality that we all experience. Reflections upon our dreams can have a fleeting effect or a significance that may haunt us for a lifetime. The visual artist can offer safe refuge to the viewer, a connection to these dreams at our invitation as we appreciate the creative avenues we discover through their art. The artist has this opportunity to present a dream as a hazy filtered reality from representational memories to an explosion of abstract and surrealistic imagery---all of which may be emotionally treasured as his or her own. Your submissions must offer such imagery, as iconic message or deeply private statement.
Eligibility & Mediums: This competition is open to all artists/photographers 18 years of age or older. Submissions for consideration can be expressed in any of the following aspects: representational, expressionism, surrealism, or abstraction.
