The Head On Photo Awards 2021 are now open to international professional, emerging and enthusiastic photographers.
Finalists have the chance to win from a prize pool of $70,000, including $30,000 in cash.
The Head On Portrait and Landscape Awards are open internationally to professional, emerging and enthusiast photographers from classical to contemporary styles and the Head On Student Award is open to Australia’s young photographers (school years K-12).
Entries are judged anonymously by a panel of internationally acclaimed professionals to ensure work is selected solely on its merit, not the celebrity of the photographer. The finalists will be exhibited as a part of the Head On Photo Festival 2021.

PORTRAIT AWARD
Winner: $15,000 cash + Sony camera kit
Australian runner up: Sony camera kit
International runner up: Sony camera kit
LANDSCAPE AWARD
Winner: $15,000 cash + prizes TBA
Australian runner up: prizes TBA
International runner up: prizes TBA
ALL FINALISTS (40 IN EACH CATEGORY)
Prizes packages from Photobook Australia, Photoreview. Published in the 2021 Head On Photo Awards catalogue and fully funded exhibition in a major 2021 Head On Photo Festival venue.
Eligibility:
Portrait and Landscape categories are open to all international photographers, and Student open to Australian K1-12 students.
