IMAGES 2019

We are pleased to continue celebrating the exceptional work of talented photographers in our region. The IMAGES 2019 Juried Photography Show provides an excellent opportunity for artists to connect with prominent collectors, gallery owners, fellow photographers, and the public. The Fairfield Museum invites professional, serious amateur, and student photographers from Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts to participate.
Submissions will be accepted through 11:50pm EST on Monday, January 14, 2019.
IMAGES 2019 Selection and Show
A jury of three professional photographers will select approximately 40 photographs for exhibition in the IMAGES 2019 Juried Photography Show, which will be on display at the Fairfield Museum from February 28, through April 28, 2019.
During the IMAGES 2019 opening event on February 28, 2019 held at the Fairfield Museum, the jury will choose one Professional/Serious Amateur photograph as “Best in Show,” and one Student photograph as “Best in Show.” Honorable mentions will also be given. The Professional/Serious Amateur winner will receive their own exhibition at Southport Galleries (330 Pequot Ave, Southport, CT) on a date to be determined by the gallery. The Student winner will receive a professional portfolio review.
