ELIGIBILITY
The „Journey of a Lifetime” Contest (“Photo Contest”) is open to all professional and amateur photographers who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Trustees, Board Members, Employees, interns, or partners of Photler.com, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of those employees, are not eligible to enter.
By submitting an entry to the Photo Contest, entrants certify that their participation in this Photo Contest is not illegal or in violation of any law, regulation, treaty or administrative act, and that the laws of their governing jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry do not prohibit or restrict the receipt of any Prize under this Photo Contest.
Photler.com reserves the right to reject any entry if, in Photler’s sole discretion, the laws of an applicable jurisdiction, including but not limited to the entrant’s jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry, would prohibit or limit Photler.com from proceeding with the Contest as intended or the consideration or awarding of any Prize would impose additional administrative, tax, operational, or legal burdens on Photler.com.

ENTRY PERIOD
The Photo Contest begins at 12:00AM UTC+0 on April 3rd, 2017 and ends at 11:59pm UTC+0 on April 16th, 2017 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Photo Contest.
WHAT TO ENTER
Photler invites you to share your most memorable journey by creating a website on Photler.com. The presentation can include images, text and videos. This means that the presentation of the journey will take form of gallery or blog post. While submitting the website to the contest, entrants will be asked to provide their full name and short description of the journey presented.
To take part in the contest, entrants must submit their website by clicking the button “Enter the contest” in their User Panel on Photler.com. All entries will be judged on creativity, best presentation and originality and winner will be decided by majority of votes.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the contest it is mandatory that you create a website at Photler.com. To create it it is necessary to provide Photler.com with the email address of entrant. On this website entrants will present their journey in form of gallery or blog post. You can use only your own images that the copyrights belong to you. Only one entry (one website) will be accepted by one person.
To have your entry accepted to the contest, entrants have to submit their work, by clicking the button “Enter the contest”, no longer then specified in Entry Period. All entries submitted after 11:59pm UTC+0 on April 16th, 2017 will not be accepted. Upon submitting their websites, entrants will be asked to provide their full name and short description of the journey presented. For the duration of the contest trial period on Photler.com will be extended to 1 month. To be able to build a website and enter the competition, the internet connection is necessary.
VOTING
The voting phase will take place after the Entry Period is over and will last from April 17th, 2017, 12:00 AM UTC+0, to April 24th, 2017, 12:00PM UTC+0. After this time no more votes would be accepted and the winner will be decided by the majority of votes. To cast a vote on the favorite presentation, voters would have to connect via Facebook in order to cast a vote. Every person in possession of computer and internet access can vote on their favorite entry. Only one vote per one Facebook account will be accepted. Photler is not responsible of sudden increase of votes obtained in illegal manner like buying votes, or using bots. The Facebook account provided while voting have to be valid one, no fake accounts will be accepted.
Entries will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact, artistic merit and subject matter relevance to the contest topic.
All judging decisions are final. Please do not contact us about the status of entries or judging.
The winner list: 1 winner of a grand prize and 3 winners of a secondary prize will be announced on April 24th, 2017 on the contest page after the voting phase is over.
Photler.com will notify the winners via the contact information (email address) provided at the time of creating a website at Photler.com. The winner will have 48 hours to respond to the email received from Photler’s team member. After this time the next person with highest number of votes will become a winner. After responding to the email from Photler’s team member, all the information regarding claiming the prize will be sent to the winners.
PRIZES
Photler.com will award the following prizes.
One (1) Overall grand prize winner will receive:
A spot in photography workshop sponsored by Photler.com that will take place in one of Europe’s capital cities chosen by the winner.
This trip includes everything from Day 1 to Day 3 (hotels, transportation, all meals) but excludes your flight, so you can spend the whole tour with without having to spend a dollar while receiving professional photography coaching.
The entrants confirm that they are not banned from visiting the chosen country and no legal restrictions prevent them from claiming the prize.

Three (3) Overall runner-up winners will receive:
Premium Account on Photler.com for Year. One account will be awarded per one person. Photler is a place to create your own professional travel photography portfolio. Photler team will upgrade the accounts that was created upon entering the contest.

Guaranteed prizes will be sent to an email address provided upon entering the contest or casting a vote.
Any prize details not specified above will be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. A prize may not be transferred and must be accepted as awarded. A winner may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion.
YOUR RIGHTS
You will retain all rights to any content you submit. YOU ALWAYS KEEP YOUR COPYRIGHTS - by uploading your photographs, copy and any other works you retain full rights to those materials that you had prior to uploading. You are the owner of those copyrights.
Photler can use your website and data created with Photler in perpetuity, free of charge and worldwide, in order of being a part of our marketing and promotional activities. You agree that your content is owned by you, and that Photler is allowed to publish, distribute and use the content without obtaining explicit permission or license from any third party.
RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Facebook, their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Photo Contest or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Photo Contest; (b) technical errors; (c) printing errors; (d) late or undelivered mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Photo Contest; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property. You waive the right to claim any attorneys’ fees and any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
PRIVACY AND PUBLICITY
Any information you submit as part of the Photo Contest will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (http://photler.com/privacy_policy/). The information you provide when you enter is provided to Sponsor. Except where prohibited, you consent to Sponsor’s use of your name in any list of winners (if applicable) and for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
DISPUTES
You agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Photo Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Poland. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Photo Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the terms and conditions governed by Polish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Polish courts.
