This year’s Global Photo Contest, we would like not only to see your beautiful work but also to consider how we can give return a favor to the photo locations. We want to make this an excellent opportunity for everyone to think and respect about nature. PASHADELIC would like to hold contests to consider how society can coexist with the environment more deeply.

The Theme is: “Landscape Photography to Pass on to the Next Generation”

1.) Please explain to us the reason why you want to pass this photo to the next generation along with your entry.
2.) Top 5 contestants remaining, will give a presentation in front of the judges.
For all of us who like landscape photography, we have a little dilemma on our hands. While on the one hand, we want spread the photos on social media for everyone to see it, on the other hand, when too many photographers and tourists visits that one particular location, the place is often destroyed?​ ​

In that sense, even our service on PASHADELIC, it reveals photo location which is often considered a ‘taboo’ in our industry. We want to share the beauty of nature with everyone, as our motto.​ ​

As the scope of our user activities is expanded, we came to hear from lots of you ‘I can enjoy more photos!’ while sadly also hearing ‘But I cannot go to popular shooting places anymore.’ PASHADELIC also share the same dilemma. This dilemma exists not only in one person or one country. It is a dilemma taking place all over the world. While some sites have been banned due to lots of people visiting, there are also some places that are being made more exciting by working together with the local government.​ ​

By challenging photographers to think about how can we make a better world by coexisting with the nature of a place? Above all else, the landscape photographers who work with nature closely, will be able to take the first step. “A world that has been changed by landscape photographers.” Wouldn’t it be nice if such a future existed? I believe that every one of our behavior can contribute to respect nature and allow us to pass on the beauty of the spot to the next generation.

Eligibility:

・Contestants can participate only via PASHADELIC website. ・ All entrants must have a Pashadelic account to compete. ・Photos must be submitted through photo contest page by clicking on the ’Enter Contest’ box. ・ All the entries must have to ”Photo Location”. ・Please state the reason why you want to pass this specific photography to the next generation. ・Photos with location information and statement is required to photos.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:

・All Top 30 Photos chosen will be exhibited at event venue at Karuizawa Prince Hotel
・Short presentation will determine the Award of Excellence on the day of the Ceremony.
・Presentation dates will be announced shortly. It is planned to be set on around mid October.
Date of the presentation will be announced on all Pashadelic platform.
・Photos must be taken by the person who submits, no second hand works allowed
・ PASHADELIC and the judges have the right to delete the photos​ ​
when finding inappropriate photos.
・ The contest is open to all, professional and amateur, gender or nationalities.
・By submitting photographs to Pashadelic, all contestants consent to give Pashadelic the right to use their pictures for its public relations such as social or internal communications, without any fee or other forms of compensation, nor the entrant’s consideration, nor the need to seek any additional approval.
・Any photo including award-winning photos can be posted to compete.
・Trimmed photos, photos with sensor dust removal are also allowed
・HDR, Panorama, Depth of Field, combined photos taken at the same spot are allowed.
・However, photo piece that is deleted or edited drastically will not be accepted.
・Winner of the contest must provide us with the RAW file of the winning photography (or other in other file format)
・If the winning piece is photoshopped all together, we ask to provide you with all photos used as RAW files.
・There are no restrictions of dates of photos​ ​
・Applicants can upload up to 3 photos per entry　
・Contestants must be 18 years or older.​ ​ 　
・Please read the instructions carefully

・To all award winners, must write a review for prizes on PASHADELIC blog after receiving prizes.
・ The copyright of the photos will remain to the person who photographed the photos.
・ We will use your registered name to introduce your photos on our website and to other media.
・ We may share the personal information with the sponsor companies to deliver the prizes.
・ Any contestants in areas that are unable to accept shipped prizes for political or social reasons (i.e. customs), may still participate. However, prizes may not be available to them. In such situation, the winner will still be featured as the winner and acknowledged as so, without any substitution in prizes.
・ We may change the prizes without notice.
・ The winner will owe to pay any extra cost such as tax and handle fee when the prizes are shipped.
・Colors of the prize can not be chosen.
