Pixels ’19

The Department of Photography, BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus presents to you, the 6th edition of our Annual Photography Exhibition - Pixels ‘19 on the occasion of World Photography Day, 19th August. Pixels is an open exhibition and an opportunity to portray the best photographs you have.

The following themes have been selected :

1. Intimate

A wise man once said, "Intimacy is not purely physical, it is the act of connecting with someone so deeply that you can see through their soul."
Portray photographs which display a plethora of emotions and the deepest of feelings, be it a mother caressing her baby, a father building sand castles by the beach with his children or lovers kissing each other as if there is no tomorrow.

2. By the Water

Reflections in the water, its whirls and the bluish tint. It refreshes the soul, adds beauty and serenity to the picture. Combine your creativity and skills, get your cameras out and capture some of the finest scenes by the water.

3. Furs, Fins and Feathers

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened. Animal kingdom is diverse with the presence of life in all forms of elements. Show us the way you photograph the spark of life in our animal friends, be it your pet or the wild.

4. Contrast

What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it that sweetness? Similarly, it takes darkness to define light. Pull out your shooting gears and embrace the opposites, because it takes contrast to bring out the actual beauty in a photograph.

5. Architecture

The architecture of a city reveals a lot about its environment, history and many aspects of it's daily life. Show your creative side with different angles and views of some ingenious structures and patterns around the world.
