Rugby Photographer of the Year with Keith Prowse is a competition that celebrates the very best of rugby photography, both amateur and professional from across the globe, culminating in an exhibition at the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham.

Entries must have been taken between 1st January 2021 and March 31st 2022. You can enter only one (1) image per category, except for the Portfolio of the Year category where you can submit ten (10) images to show a body of work.

Prizes:

All shortlisted entries will have their work featured in an exhibition at the World Rugby Museum inside Twickenham Stadium. Category winners will be revealed online, before the overall winner is announced at the awards evening at the World Rugby Museum in Twickenham. A cash prize of £1,000 will be awarded to the overall Grand Prix winner of Rugby Photographer of the Year. All category winners will also feature in a special edition of Rugby Journal.

Eligibility:

The Competition comprises six categories and an overall ‘Rugby Photo of the Year’ category. All categories (except Young Photographer) are open to photographers aged 18 and over, and ‘Young Photographer’ is open to photographers aged 17 and under.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:

Ownership of the copyright in any entry submitted to the Competition will remain with the copyright owner(s). The photographer will be credited (eg © photographer’s name). The photographer agrees that the Owners will not be liable to the photographer in the event of inadvertent omission of the credit.
