Siena International Photo Award at its first edition has already become the Italian photo contest with the highest international participation ever: 15,000 images submitted by photographers from over 100 countries around the world.
The photos must be based on the following categories and themes: OPEN: Abstract, Automotive, Beauty, Conceptual, Dinamics & Movement, Fashion, Fine Art, Food, Music & Dance, Nudes, Product / Objects, Still Life, Wedding, Science and Research, Other OPEN: monochrome TRAVEL: Culture, Daily Life, Documentary & Photojournalism, Street Photography, Trip memories & Adventures, Other PEOPLE AND PORTRAIT: Men, Women, Children, Portraits, Other NATURE: Aerial, Astrophotography, Environmental, Flowers & Plants, Trees, Mountains, Landscapes, Macro, Nightscape, Panorama, Seascapes/Waterscapes, Star Trail, Underwater, Other WILDLIFE: Animals in nature (not domestic animal species), Birds, Fishes, Others ARCHITETTURE: Bridges, Buildings, Cityscapes, Industrial, Interior, Panorama, Other SPORT: Any kind of professional and no professional sports, amateurs WINE (Special theme of the year): In order to promote the wine sector with sustainable strategies, the new 2016 SIPAContest free theme is Wine, in any stage of its life cycle: from vineyards to the cellars, winery processing, packaging, distribution, marketing, to the unrepeatable joy of a glass of wine! STORYBORD: Sequence of images (min. 5 max 9) that tell a story. The same image can not participate in more than one section.

Eligibility:
Siena International Photo Awards is a photographic contest open to professional and no professional photographers from all around the world. An entry may be excluded from the contest where the Organising Committee, in its discretion, would consider it not in accordance to the rules and conditions of the competition.
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
Each participant owns the copyright of the submitted images. The participant certifies the work as its own.
The entrant allows the contest organizers to use, free of charge, the entered images for promotional purposes related to the photo contest, as catalogue, calendar and website, unless specifically stated otherwise on the registration form by the participant. No photographs entered for Siena International Photo Awards will be offered for sale or used by any of the Siena International Photo Awards sponsors for any commercial or other purpose other than for the marketing of Siena International Photo Awards, the competition and/or the exhibition and catalogue without the approval of the photographer.
