The Glasgow Gallery of Photography is running a month long exhibition in September called Texture. Along with shape and colour, texture is another accept of photography that we have found interesting to explore. Whether it's discovering interesting textures out in the world, in either nature or urban environments and trying to capture it, or using light and shadow to create texture within your image, it can make the difference between a flat image and one that has more life to it.

Texture is an open call for photographers to submit up to 8 images for an exhibition with the theme of Texture.

Photographers who are selected will have their work displayed in a month long exhibition in our gallery, with their work also appearing online in an online gallery on our website.
