The competition is seeking outstanding urban photography. Join us for an opportunity to showcase your skills, win prizes and have your work screened at The Tate during UrbanPhotoFest 2017.
UrbanPhotoFest Open is an international urban photography competition, open to everyone globally over the age of 18. Now in its second year, the competition is seeking to find outstanding images that represent our cities.
You are invited to submit up to 4 images across the following categories: Architecture, Objects, People and Urban Landscape.
We are looking forward to seeing some visually compelling images across all four categories.
The UrbanPhotoFest Open is developed and managed by the Urban Photographers Association, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote excellence in urban photographic practice, research and education
Prizes:
First Prize: Fuji X100F 24.3 MP 3-Inch LCD CSC Camera with 23 mm f/2.0 Fujinon Lens Kit, Fujifilm X100F Premium Leather Case, Memory Card, Spare Battery plus a portfolio review.
Second Prize - a place on the prestigious International Urban Photography Summer School at Goldsmiths, University of London
Third Prize - a cash prize of £300
In addition to the above prizes:
The three winning images will be shown on the UrbanPhotoFest website.
A selection of 20 competition photographs including the winning images will be screened at The Tate during international festival conference in November 2017.

Everyone globally over the age of 18
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
Copyright of the images will remain at all times with the photographer.
Images will be used strictly in connection to the awards and will not be used for any other marketing purposes other than to promote Urban Photo Fest. Images will not be resold or used by any other third party. If there is a request for such, we will forward that request to the photogapher via email.
To promote winners of each categatory, Urban Photo Fest Open is granted the right to display images on social network websites (on our official profiles) including Facebook and Twitter.
