Where the Leaves Fall / OmVed Gardens – REDESIGN

Exploring humankind's connection with nature - REDESIGN

Submit

Your opportunity to have your work published and exhibited in this collaboration between OmVed Gardens and Where the Leaves Fall magazine.

Where the Leaves Fall is an independent magazine exploring humankind’s connection with nature. Each issue explores three themes with a photography competition around one of these themes. The chosen theme for our second competition is ‘redesign’.

The brief is open for photographers to submit up to five high resolution photographs on this theme – either a single photo or a sequence of photographs. Although we invite an open interpretation of ‘redesign,’ it is important the photographs demonstrate an interaction between humankind and nature, and are of course respectful. We also require that you write a short paragraph on how your photo, or sequence of photographs, fits the theme. The deadline is midnight 28 February 2020.

From the chosen sets, we will select either one photo, or a selection, to feature in the next print issue of Where the Leaves Fall. This competition takes place every issue of the magazine, so sign up to our mailing list for details of future competitions.

The magazine is made in conversation with OmVed Gardens, where an annual exhibition of the competition photography will be hosted. Your photograph may also be featured on the @wtlfmag or @omvedgardens Instagram accounts. We hope you enjoy this opportunity to have your work shown, but also to turn your camera on and engage with nature.

Please send your photos via WeTransfer to photos@wheretheleavesfall.com – include your name and contact information, as well as a link to your other work if you have this available.

There will be a photo competition for each issue of the magazine. Sign up to our newsletter (below) and follow us on social media @wtlfmag for details.
