dotART cultural association, promoter of the international photo festival Trieste Photo Days, launches an open call for the new project WOW: Worlds of Women through.
A collective photographic tribute to women and special guest of the project, American documentarist Susan Meiselas, one of the most influential female photographers in the world.
The ambition is to create a project with a heterogeneous style that focuses on women, the female figure, motherhood, gender disparities, social struggles, work, culture, art. Each author can address the theme through the photographic genre that he feels closest to.
WOW is a unique opportunity for all photographers to become part of an important photographic VOLUME that will contain selected works by the participants and special guest Susan Meiselas.
A huge international group EXIBITION with a wide selection of the best photos of the project, which will take place in the dual context of Trieste Photo Days 2022 at the end of October. For the occasion will be held conferences and talks dedicated.
Prizes:
Best Author among the Selected will be awarded with:
- A free stay of 3 nights in Trieste during Trieste Photo Days 2022 to attend the WOW presentation
-Guest of honor at the Photographers Dinner during Trieste Photo Days 2022
-A special trophy
-1 free copy of the book WOW
-1 free copy of Trieste Photo Days 2022 catalogue
-1 free entrance to a workshop/masterclass during Trieste Photo Days 2022

Eligibility:
Call is open to professional and amateur photographers from around the world.
Copyrights & Usage Rights:
The submitting photographer owns the copyright to all of his images.
The photographer grants the association dotART a non-exclusive right to use winning images to promote/publicize the Call. The association dotART reserves also the right to use them within the scope of its own non-profit associational activities after sending an official communication to the author.
The Author, whose name will always be attributed to the work, maintains in any case his/her moral rights in regard to the work, in addition to the intellectual property rights to the same.
