WYNG Masters Award 2015/16 – IDENTITY

From 15 June to 15 September 2015 the WYNG Masters Award invites both international and Hong Kong artists and image-makers to submit photographic-based work. The visual content must be related to Hong Kong and to the chosen theme IDENTITY. Finalists will be selected by a panel of international judges and their works will be exhibited in Hong Kong in Spring 2016. A full-colour catalogue will be published to coincide with the exhibition. The WYNG Masters Award will also host a series of talks, panels, and seminars during the exhibition period.
Prizes:
The winner of WYNG Masters Award will receive a cash prize of HKD$250,000. Each of the six additional finalists will receive HKD$15,000.

Copyrights & Usage Rights:
The entrant must be the sole author and owner of copyright, intellectual property and all other proprietary rights in all pictures entered.
You will retain copyright and all other rights to any photograph you submit. By entering the competition, you grant to the WYNG Foundation a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to reproduce any of the images for any purposes in connection with promoting the WYNG Masters Award including, but not limited to:
Judging the WYNG Masters Award
Voting
Inclusion within the WYNG Masters Award website (upon submission and after), WMA website, WYNG media website, the exhibition catalogue or similar print or digital media published by the WYNG Foundation
Displaying the finalists entries at public exhibitions promoting the WYNG Masters Award and its programmes
Inclusion within marketing and promotional materials (including emails, websites and press packs) for the WYNG Masters Award and/or any related exhibition and programmes
Sub-licensing the entries to the press for reproduction in connection with the WYNG Masters Award and any exhibition and programmes
Allowing viewers of the Website to view images on a computer screen, PDA, tablet or mobile phone
All entrants must be able to supply high-resolution images suitable for printing in media.
There will be no monetary compensation for usage.
